“Bonner county human rights task force's responsibility is to affirm the american principles and ideals of the inviolable dignity and worth of each human being. The mission of the bchrtf is to promote and secure mutual understanding and respect among all people. Bchrtf recognizes that it is the racial, social, and cultural diversity of our people that makes bonner county a rich and worthwhile place to live.”

“Accomplishments include scholarships to students in bonner county, id through the amber and darcy campbel fund and the erik bruhjell scholarship fund, and grants to various community organizations through the idaho community foundation. We also provided crisis services to those in bonner county who needed assistance related to a violation of their human rights.”

“We hold a variety of workshops and events, bringing skilled speakers and facilitators to town whose expertise falls in line with our mission statement. In 2022, we held two free workshops titled "leadership for an inclusive sandpoint". The purpose of the workshops was to explore the value of a diverse and inclusive community and how we can bring people together to foster a safe, respectful and welcoming community. The workshops were open to members of the community and required pre-registration.”
