“The first half of 2015 saw the completion of our 2015-2016 season, during which period the salmon arts council served 3,550 people through 22 programs in the performing and visual arts; programs including: 1. Classical salmon musical festival featuring robert henry, pamela south, and theodore buchholz 2. Montana shakespeare in the parks 3. Literature to life program 4. Bits & pieces cabaret dinner theatre 5. Shakespearience 6. The last of the red hot lovers 7. 11th annual blues, brews & bbq 8. Art in the market 9. The nightcalver's ball 10. The piatigorsky foundation's presentation of cellist evan drachman 11. Art workshops with the local lemhi after school program 12. The holiday wreath workshop 13. Paints & paint workshops 14. The 4th annual history month. Of these 22 programs, 8 were designed specifically for youth and served 2,745 students. Collaborations included project development with the lemhi county historical society, the salmon school district, lemhi after school promise program, the sacajawea interpretative and cultural center, bertrams' brewery and other local businesses. Our annual major fundraiser, the sponsors' sneak preview, was held in early may to garner program sponsorships for the coming season.”
