Profile
Our end vision is to offer hope to the city's less fortunate and homeless population by providing the skills needed to become self-sufficient. By sharing our personal experiences we gain their confidence. What makes us unique is the fact that we meet each person hassle-free and without an appointment. Being homeless is a situation, not an identity. We communicate with each client on a personal level. We listen to their wants and needs. We walk them through a system of setting goals based on their strengths and interests. We call this our "pie system". Each time an individual client sets a goal, we help them to accomplish their goal by a series of smaller goals we call "pie slices". This helps the indiviual gain self-esteem and motivation. We are one of the very few that treat the disease and not just the symptoms. "if you put a band-aid over the problem, the problem still exists".

“Provided outside, friday outreach in front of hamilton county public library in downtown cincinnati. Food included sandwiches from our daily bread and drinks and snacks from action ministries of northern kentucky. We regularly served 120 - 150 people each friday, including homeless and less fortunate. Organized and managed an outside, sunday outreach in front of the hamilton county justice center on sycamore street. Our services included larosa's pizza, fresh fruit (bananas, oranges, and apples), pastries, hygiene kits, donated clothing, and haircuts. We served an average of 150 - 300 homeless and less fortunate. When outside temperatures dropped to freezing back on october 31, 2019 until december 19, 2019, and the normal emergency cold shelters were not yet open, maslow's army collaborated with several churches in cincinnati and with the hamilton county justice center to provide nighttime shelter and meals for the homeless population left stranded on our streets. We also used maslow's army buses to collect homeless that were stranded on streets in cincinnati and norther kentucky. These services helped up to 200 people each night.”
