IRS990/Desc0Shelter: The River Street Shelter, a congregate program for adults, closed in early 2024 when our lease ended. We transitioned clients into individual and shared motel rooms in North Bend, offering greater privacy, autonomy, and opportunities for staff to focus on housing support. This new model was renamed Shelter to Home, serving both adults and families with children. Clients may stay up to 90 days, with extensions available, while working with our housing advocate to secure stable housing. In 2024, we sheltered 102 adults and 38 children. Outcomes included 25 people moving into permanent housing, 31 into temporary/transitional housing, and 23 into another shelter, with others returning to unsheltered settings or institutions.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy2Grp/Desc0The Front Door Community Service Center: In 2024, we purchased a new Service Center and Headquarters in downtown Snoqualmie using State and County capital grants plus a mortgage. After closing, we invested nearly $100,000 in improvements and began planning a 5-year phased remodel. The building now houses The Front Door Community Resource Center, offering drop-in navigation for social services; Threads of Kindness, a free clothing closet; case management offices for shelter residents and those at risk of homelessness; and our Severe Weather Shelter for up to 15 people. It also provides space for administrative and support staff. By the end of 2024, all programs were fully operating in the new facility, strengthening community access and organizational stability.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy3Grp/Desc0Gender-Based Violence Program: Reclaim, in partnership with the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, provides emergency shelter and services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, harassment, and stalking. The program serves women, men, and families, offering safe motel-based shelter, basic needs support, safety planning, and case management. In 2024, we sheltered 39 victim/survivors and 26 family members, providing a total of 3,114 bed-nights of safety and stability. Survivors also received referrals to counseling, legal assistance, advocacy, and housing resources. Unfortunately, due to limited funding, more than 60 additional victim/survivors seeking safety had to be turned away. This program fills a critical gap in the Snoqualmie Valley, where few local resources for gender-based violence survivors have previously existed.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActyOtherGrp/Desc0Snoqualmie Valley Severe Weather Shelter: Reclaim operates a Severe Weather Shelter to protect community members during periods of extreme heat/cold, storms, or hazardous conditions. In 2024, the shelter relocated to our new Service Center building in downtown Snoqualmie. The facility provides 14 beds for adults in a safe environment, while families with children are sheltered in motel rooms to ensure privacy and stability. The program is pet-friendly, allowing clients to bring their dogs with them. In 2024, the Severe Weather Shelter was activated 4 times for a total of 18 nights, serving 23 unique clients. This program ensures that vulnerable individuals and families have safe refuge during dangerous weather conditions, reducing risk of exposure, illness, and crisis escalation.
