PART III ORGANIZATION PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE PUBLIC CHARITY STATUS 509a2 Coffee4VETS operating as a 5013 non-profit organization our mission is to identify senior WW II Korean and Vietnam veterans along with veterans who served in the middle east and to provide an environment where these senior veterans and veterans of all military branches and genders along with family members of these veterans can meet to converse with one another sharing concerns they may have and to help find ways to improve their daily lives while sharing coffee and a meal in a safe conflict free environment. PURPOSE- The purpose is to bring together weekly senior veterans of all military branches and gender in a safe environment for coffee and a meal to address educate and provide aid while disseminating information from the veterans administration state and local agencies and other non-profits of any benefit changes affecting their daily lives. Our program includes sending out ambassadors

Line 28 Coffee4VETS host the Veterans Military Ball in honor of all those who have served the nation and who never had the opportunity to attend their branches ball during their time in the service. The ball not only serves to offer a thank you to our veterans but also to honor our veterans who served in WWII Korea and Vietnam. The Ball enables us to have our members of congress State and Local government and gives them the chance to get to know these veterans in the community and to honor them with certificates of recognition for their service and thank them personally for defending the country. Funds are raised through donations ticket sales sponsorships and advertisements in the souvenir booklet. Expenses incurred include rental facility food decorations and special awards for presentation to the honorees and for our business sponsors of the Ball. The Ball serves 260 to 280 veterans and family members along with dignitaries who attend.$0$28,865
In May since 2017 Coffee4VETS has put on a Memorial Day BBQ in honor of US Coast Guard and Vietnam Veteran LTCDR Walter Sapp who feel ill to the Covid-19 Virus during 2020 and has been hospitalized since even to this day. The BBQ is also another way to offer thanks to the men and women who came before us giving the ultimate sacrifice and to honor the veterans who returned along with the families of these heroes. The BBQ is hosted at the Lancaster Elks Lodge 1625 on the last Saturday of the month. The cost includes facility rental purchase of the steaks hamburger and franks sides soft drinks and utensils 20X40 tents tables and chairs. The BBQ host 180 to 200 veterans and families and has for keynote speakers our state government and local officials.$0$19,860
Coffee4VETS host a weekly breakfast in Lancaster CA. every Tuesday since 2016 from 7am until 9am. The purpose is to provide a safe environment where veterans and their family members can gather to meet one another discussion issues with fellow veterans and learn more about their benefits from the VA Cal Vet along with learning about services provided by other local veterans support organizations such as VPAN Veteran Peer Access Network and MHALA-MRC Mental Health America Los Angeles-Military Resource Center. We host between 50 to 90veteerans weekly times 52 weeks. From time to time we are supported by restaurant goers and others who help offset the cost of breakfast for the veterans in attendance. Our weekly gathering is broadcast live on FACEBOOK LIVE for those veterans who are unable to attend in person. Our FACEBOOK LIVE broadcast begins at 07:30 am. every Tuesday$0$2,334
