They promote visual storytelling rooted in the local community, while bringing global perspective and photography talent to detroit. They create a supportive, welcoming community space that brings people together around a shared interest in photography and offer educational opportunities in photography to people of all ages and proficiencies, including youth and those with limited access to arts education, while promoting the practice of traditional photography in conjunction with comptemporary digital platforms.”
