The governing body uses a systemic process of determing reasonable compensation for the key officers. Generally, that includes comparable services( whether non-profit or for profit, and under comparable circumstances). In other words we look at what other people doing similar jobs for similar organizations are paid. Freedmens strives to be competive to retain great talents.

A conflict of interest refers to situations in which personal, occupational or financial considerations may affect, or appear to affect, a directors objectivity, judgment or ability to act in the best interests of the corporation and includes conflicts. Adopt a conflict-of-interest policy; we regularly minitor comliance with the policy as defined in our bylaws. Each individual covered by the by the policy to disclose on an annual basis any relationships with people doing business with the organization that could give rise to a conflict of interest.
