“The purpose of the organization is to transform lives by offering comprehensive solutions that lead to better employment throgh education, knowledge and career servcices in the great houston area. Specifically, services will include, but are not limited to, language training, cultural orientation, vocational training, career counseling,professional skill development, and placement solutions with the goal of attaining career upgrades and enhanced self-sufficiency. The organization will expand services that are currently offered to a specific population to include all vulnerable populations in the greater houston area in need for career transformation.”

“Civics grant program provide civics education, case management, and teaching support. Cct provides civics-focused services that empower immigrants on their path to u.s. Citizenship. Through this program, we offer comprehensive instruction in u.s. History, government, and civic responsibilities, helping lawful permanent residents not only prepare for the naturalization test but also become informed and engaged members of their communities. The grant enables us to expand access to education, build trust within underserved populations, and foster meaningful civic participation strengthening both individual lives and the broader social fabric.”

The refugee career pathways (rcp) program is a federally funded initiative by the office of refugee resettlement (orr) under the administration for children and families (acf). It aims to help refugees and other orr- eligible populations achieve economic self-sufficiency by supporting their entry or re-entry into professional or skilled career fields in the u.s.”

“Acam program community navigation, instruction, and outreach. The pathways to citizenship collaborative, coordinated by acam in houston, helps immigrants navigate the journey to u.s. Citizenship by offering legal assistance, civics education, and financial support. In partnership with organizations like the houston immigration legal services collaborative (hilsc), the initiative provides workshops, mock interviews, english classes and guidance on the naturalization process. It also connects participants with affordable legal services and helps cover application costs through funding from groups like the houston endowment.”

“All other accomplishments prioritising disadvantages communities; aiming to improve access to daily needs such as jobs, education, healthcare, food, and recreation; fostering equitable development and restoration; reconnecting communities by removing, retrofitting, or mitigating highways or other transformation facilities that create barriers to community connectivity, including to mobility, access, or economic development.”
