“Health and social development is evaluating the perinatal and infant oral health quality improvement grant funded through the sc dental association. 1. The evaluation goal is as follows: the evaluation of program performance will monitor and assess ongoing processes and progress as the project works toward achieving the planned goals and objectives, assessing the progress made in the implementation of the selected model and identifying priorities for quality improvement. 2. The health and social development evaluation work will examine whether perinatal and infant oral health quality improvement (piohqi) achieves the following objectives: a. Expands opportunities for access to direct oral health; b. Increases delivery of best practices for oral health care, including oral health clinical competencies of primary care provider; c. Enhances statewide data sources, making available "real time" data with common oral health metrics; and d. Supports sustainability, including state policy and legislation changes to ensure sufficient reimbursement.”
