“In 2024, dba arts, inc. Deepened its role as a connector and storyteller within sacramento's creative ecosystem. The articulator project continued to highlight local artists, makers, and cultural practitioners through online and print features. New interviews and essays explored themes of placemaking, equity, and creative entrepreneurship, offering an honest look at both the challenges and opportunities of sustaining an arts practice in sacramento. The publication was circulated in key community and hospitality venues, helping visitors and residents alike discover the breadth of artistic talent in the region. Dba arts also supported a series of informal artist conversations and salons, creating space for dialogue around collaboration, shared resources, and the future of sacramento's creative economy. In addition, dba arts continued its support of the sensory dance project, an inclusive ballet and movement experience designed for children on the autism spectrum and their families. These performances provided a welcoming environment for children who may not always have access to traditional performance settings, aligning with dba arts' commitment to lowering barriers to meaningful arts participation. Across these initiatives, dba arts, inc.
