| ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt | 0 | Heart of Courage is submitting this Form 990-EZ after the original deadline because the organization was experiencing an unusually high period of stress and uncertainty that affected administrative capacity. During this time the need to request an extension was unintentionally overlooked resulting in the return being filed late. The organization did not intentionally disregard its filing requirements. Once the oversight was realized steps were taken to gather the necessary information and complete the return promptly. Heart of Courage has since implemented reminders and improved internal tracking to ensure that future filing deadlines and extensions are not missed. The organization respectfully requests that the IRS accept this return as filed with reasonable cause for the delay. |
