Sunshine community housing development organization, inc. Is organized as a nonprofit corporation under the laws of the state of florida and is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and corresponding florida provisions. Accordingly, no provision for income taxes is reflected in the accompanying financial statements. Donors of cash and/or property are entitled to the maximum charitable contribution deduction allowed by law. The organization follows the guidance of asc 740, income taxes, related to uncertainties in income taxes, which prescribes a threshold of more likely than not for recognition and derecognition of tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. There are no such uncertain tax positions for the organization for the year ended june 30, 2025.
