“Other revenue includes reimbursement from a fraternity for an event we held with them, a grant we received for our national convention, and a payment we received from an active member after the debit card was accidentally used to purchase her a month of Amazon Prime. Other expenses include technical costs for website and internet storage, costs for sisterhood and social events (venues, transportation, food, etc.), international and Greek Council dues, recruitment supply costs for membership promotion. Our chapter had income from merchandise sales this year. Merchandise sales are logo items that are sold to members of the organization and some sales to others outside the organization. Another reason why the number in 7a is so high is because we placed a large deposit for a merchandise order, but we ended up canceling it and received the money back as a reimbursement.”
