DescriptionGrantsExpenses
To The Pointe Collective is a structured dance education and professional mentorship program designed for high school students pursuing serious training in the performing arts. The program emphasizes technical skill development across multiple dance disciplines while exposing students to professional pathways and career opportunities in the arts. During the September 2024 - August 2025 program period, Evolution Arts served approximately 65 students total through To The Pointe Collective programming. This included approximately 25 youth served during the earlier portion of the fiscal year and over 40 students served in partnership with North Atlanta High School through a rotating series of modern, ballet, and jazz classes. Programming emphasized technical development, artistic discipline, personal expression, and mentorship from professional teaching artists. The long-term goal of To The Pointe Collective is to create access to high-quality, professional-level dance training for students in underserved communities who may otherwise lack exposure to advanced performing arts education and the professional networks that support careers in dance.$0$160
Z Code is Evolution Arts' flagship STEAM initiative, designed to introduce youth to coding, digital literacy, and computational thinking through a culturally engaging, music-driven approach. Using Georgia Tech's EarSketch platform, students learn Python-based programming while creating original music compositions, making coding accessible and relevant to young people who may not see themselves as traditional technologists. During the September 2024 - August 2025 program period, Evolution Arts delivered Z Code afterschool programming across multiple City of Atlanta Parks and Recreation Centers and Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta sites, serving over 70 students across multiple age groups. Programming included structured coding instruction, typing skill development, digital literacy fundamentals, and hands-on music production. Several students submitted original work to a national coding competition, reinforcing academic engagement and building confidence in their technical abilities. The long-term goal of Z Code is to create a pipeline of young people from underserved communities who are equipped with foundational technology skills and inspired to pursue careers in the creative-tech economy.$0$111
Couture Ladies and Gentleman's Code are complementary workforce development initiatives designed to prepare teenagers for academic, professional, and social success. These programs address the gap between classroom education and real-world professional expectations by equipping young people with practical skills in communication, presentation, and workplace readiness. During the September 2024 - August 2025 program period, Evolution Arts served over 40 youth through Couture Ladies and Gentleman's Code programming delivered in partnership with City of Atlanta Parks and Recreation Teen Programs. Participants received instruction in resume development, professional etiquette, digital literacy, proper rhetoric, elevator pitch delivery, and workplace presentation. The expansion into Gentleman's Code ensured that both young men and women had inclusive access to workforce readiness programming. The long-term goal of these initiatives is to reduce barriers to professional opportunity for teens in underserved communities by building the confidence, communication skills, and professional awareness needed to compete and thrive in academic and career environments.$0$17

ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt0The organization's Executive Director, who is solely responsible for financial reporting and tax compliance, was unable to complete the filing by the November 2025 deadline due to extenuating personal circumstances beyond her control. The Executive Director sustained a foot injury that limited her capacity during the filing period. Additionally, in late January 2025, her mother suffered a cardiac event requiring emergency care, followed by a breast cancer diagnosis in February 2025. These overlapping medical crises required significant caregiving responsibilities and caused substantial disruption to normal organizational operations. The organization is filing at the earliest opportunity and remains committed to full compliance going forward.
