Justice for our neighbors east texas(jfon-et) is a faith-driven ministry of hospitality that welcomes immigrants by providing affordable, high-quality immigration legal services to low-income immigrants, engaging in advocacy for immigrant rights, and offering related education to communities of faith and the public. Jfon-et is a part of a national network of immigration legal clinics. Jfon at the national level grew out of the united methodist committee on relief's(umcor) long committment to refugees and immigrants. Umcor established jfon in 1999. Since that time, jfon has grown to a network of 18 sites that support nearly 50 clinics to serve more than 5,000 clients annually.
