“Carry the Future has a robust conflict of interest policy in place which requires that each member of the board of directors, upon electronic, sign a conflict of interest form. The form requires disclosure of all potential conflicts as they arise. The conflict of interest policy is reviewed each year at the annual meeting. Conflict of interest disclosures are monitored by the board secretary in conjunction with the general counsel. Any conflicts are immediately investigated and resolved.”

We partner with schools and educational centers to provide healthy meal and snack options to refugee and asylum seeking children attending these facilities. Our volunteer staff maintain regular communications with representatives from the facilities we partner with to ensure meal and snack quantities and contents are meeting the needs of the children. The Nourishment with Education program is overseen by the volunteer Board of Directors.
