Redirection-NC provides transitional housing and support services to women who are justice involved which presents a barrier affecting their ability to obtain housing as they rejoin the community. We assist in connecting them with education and life skills training to aid them in employment. We provide resources for food transportation ID services medical and mental health treatment as needed. We continue to be effected by the COVID pandemic presenting financial and operational challenges. We have one house in operation at this time. Because of the lack of affordable housing in our area most of our women stay longer than the normal eighteen months.
