HRC Development loaned Superior Commons $80,000 in 2010 to purchase land and develop a low income Housing Tax Credit project. The project is leased up and renting to income qualified tenants. Since the loan has yet to be repaid, an allowance for doubtful accounts has been established on this development note. Establishing the allowance for doubtful accounts on this note allows the LIHTC project to be more flexible in managing the property. HRC Development received no development fees for this LIHTC project.
