“The organization has five classes of members. 1. Outfitter membership - an outfitter member of this association may be any person holding a valid and current montana outfitter's license, or designated and permitted as an outfitter by a federal land agency, or a landowner legally operating as an outfitter, or a past outfitter member now licensed as a guide, by paying annual dues, agreeing to the terms and conditions of the constitution and bylaws and upholding the standards as enumerated in the bylaws. 2. Guide membership - licensed montana hunting and fishing guides will be considered association members upon satisfaction of annual dues requirements. 3. Associate members - associate memberships may be issued to any firm, person or corporation who cannot otherwise qualify for outfitter or guide membership by making application to the executive director and payment of annual dues. 4. Business membership - business memberships may be issued to businesses that desire a supportive relationship with the association and its members. Annual membership is attained through submitting an application to the executive director and payment of annual dues. 5. Honorary member - any person, nominated by a member of this association and approved by a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote of the board of directors shall be an honorary member of this association.”

“Outfitter members, or their spouses, are entitled to one vote in elections. No other members are entitled to vote in elections.”

“The executive assistant reviews the 990 before it is presented to the executive director for signature.”

“Executive director compensation is approved by the board of directors.”

“The organization's governing documents and financial statements are available upon request.”
