“Texas Health Outpatient Surgery Center Alliance (THOSCA), transferred all facilities and hospital operations to Texas Health Surgery Center Alliance, LLC, a related joint venture, during 2017. No additional transfer of assets or operations occurred during 2019. The current period's activity consists solely of the winding down of outstanding receivable and payable balances related to earlier operations. At no time during 2019 did THOSCA own or operate a Hospital facility or provide patient services. THOSCA did not hold a hospital license during 2019 and is not required to file a 2019 Form 990 Schedule H.”

“Adjustment for Intercompany Transactions of a Controlled Group $131,805 The intercompany adjustment eliminated the receivable/payable balance as of the end of the year between Texas Health Resources (THR) and all wholly controlled tax-exempt entities included in the THR Healthcare System. The adjustment represents current year activity. The THR Healthcare System records all related transactions through the intercompany Receivable/Payable accounts for each entity. The types of transactions recorded in the Intercompany accounts include management fees charged by the parent organization, services purchased between related organizations, supplies purchased by a centralized purchasing department, daily cash sweeps and similar transactions.”
