The organization is engaged in promoting the common good and general welfare of the people in the community by undertaking the following activities: a) the organization will promote the public understanding of, and appreciation for, the culture and traditions of ethiopia. This educational activity is aimed at ethnic ethiopians living in the united states as well as the general public. The organization anticipates that it will spend approximately 80% of its time and efforts in furthering this objective. B) providing services to immigrants and others in need. The organization plans to spend approximately 10% of its time and effort assisting new ethiopian immigrants, other non-ethiopian immigrants and others in the washington, d.c. Area. C) mentoring ethiopian immigrants and others. The organization plans to spend approximately 10% of its time and efforts in mentoring.
