“35 students were served with a variety of educational therapy-based interventions. Academic gains were measured with the woodcock johnson tests of achievement. 100% made significant gains in at least one subject area; 35% of all subtests given saw 7 or more point gains; 7 graduated - each indicating tremendous growth in multiple areas. Each demonstrating skills of an independent learner; 2 graduates received updated iq testing. Iq tests are the best measure for determining how easy or difficult education is for an individual student. Both made spectacular gains both academically and in iq. The exec dir did multiple presentations; a realtaionship with covenant classical christian school was formalized with discovery becoming their special education department. Awareness events were held in the community. A survey was sent out to home school leaders in the state looking for interest in spearheading a kind of clearing house for those home schooling struggling learners inthe state.”
