Mission

Ifoster is a national non-profit that focuses on providing life changing resources for vulnerable children and youth. Programs are available for free at www.ifoster.org to members of the foster, adoptive and kinship communities; youth who have emancipated out of the system; and the organizations that support them. Programs focus on closing the funding gap in child welfare and achieving purchasing power and voice.

Major Activities

Activity 2
1-laptop / get connected! - addresses the digital divide barrier among children and youth in foster care. In partnership with microsoft, lifespan technology recycling, and a number of funding partners, 1-laptop provides refurbished business-class laptops with full microsoft productivity software (windows and office), tech support and digital literacy training, and low-cost internet access partnerships.
