“The executive director, with the support of the members, conducts due diligence and indentifies potential members that support the high quality focus of the organization. After that activity, and upon the potential member expressing an interest in joining the organization, the executive director or board president, submits a memorandum to the board, summarizing critical information on the potential member, and the recommendation to invite them into membership. The members then submit their vote, either by completing an online survey or in person at board meetings and upon receiving these votes, the member is welcomed to ecec membership.”
