| In 2016, impossible2Possible (i2P) carried out two non-traditional web-based Experiential Learning programs from remote regions of the world and delivered them to classrooms free of charge here in North America and to a wider audience over the globe. In these experience based learning programs nearly students and the broader general public participate and learn about different cultures and regions of the planet. The founder and co-founder, along with other high profile adventure guides and educators, escorted i2P Youth Ambassadors through an athletic and cultural learning camp in Chelsea, Quebec, Canada and a Youth Expedition across Death valley, CA. The Death Valley learning adventure was the 13th stage in the i2P World Expedition Series (W.E.S.). These events are being discussed here because these are precisely the kind of accomplishments that reflects i2Ps goals and objectives. The Death Valley Expedition sent a message that was multi-faceted with an emphasis on the history, geography, and mystery, of this incredible National Park. Independent websites along with a strong social media presence are established (you can access them from our home website www.impossible2Posssible.com) for the sole purpose of sharing these programs with classrooms and the wider general public, over the globe. All i2P expedition websites are loaded with interaction for students to follow along and engage. On a daily basis, students all over the globe can download education modules in class and interact live with the expedition teams via satellite conferencing software. Participating students always have the opportunity to ask questions of the expedition team and the team answers questions either live or via video journals on the website. An extended group of thousands of youth world-wide participated by visiting the websites daily. All i2P programs utilize peer to peer learning with youth ambassadors pushing beyond their perceived limits and experiencing life changing moments along with the thousands of youth around the globe inspired to achieve the impossible! The coverage of this journey was also well covered by various media outlets in the Canadian and U.S. press. Impossible2Possible Youth Ambassador Alumni continue with active participation in follow up programs such as visiting schools to share their personal experiences. | $8,977 | - |
