“Form 990 - ez, part iii, line 28, program service accomplishments - benevolence god's children reaches people at the point of their need. In 2013, assistance was provided with medical expenses, food, clothing and utilities. Additionally, housing, food, and/or tuition assistance was provided for 4 university students and 4 middle and high school students. The program to provide knit caps, blankets and clothing for premies and newborns at local hospital expanded to providing clothing for children at the psychiatric hospital, autism centers, and red cross camp for underprivileged children. Over 100 orphaned children received magi gift bags at christmas. Form 990 - ez, part iii line 29, program service accomplishments - counseling - god's children desires to bring emotional healing to the hurting through christian counseling for those who are or have been in abusive situations and by conducting programs that encourage women and children to begin to openly discuss abusive situations. Forty families and individuals with abuse issues were counseled and lifestyles were changed in a positive direction. The parenting school, now led by romanian psychologists and social workers, trained over 100 students (parents). God's children professional, licensed counselors provided advanced training for local counselors. An american school librarian trained 18 covasna country school librarians in methods to increase students desire to learn as well as improve students use of school libraries. ------------------------------ form 990 - ez, part iii line 30, prgram service accomplishments - evangelism - god's children desires to teach and train people to know the love of god. Towards this end, 9,750 children's bibles in the hungarian language were distributed to the hungarian speaking children in transylvania (romania), and hungary. Children's bibles in the romanian language were distributed to 700 romanian speaking children. These were distributed through schools, orphanages, day care, churches, youth organizations. During the summer, a vacation bible school was conducted 1 day a week for 3 hours teaching christian songs, bibles lessons and prayer. Hungarian new testaments were distributed to 1050 teens and adults. Let's start talking teams were requested and supported for over one hundred seventy five readers totaling over 700 hours of reading and discussing the bible in english. For one month among that number were more than seventy five young people reached by the teenage let's start talking teams with adult supervision reaching out to local youths. Individual discussions were held with over thirty individuals, couples and families to encourage and illustrate christian values and aid through benevolence and prayer.”
