The Lafayette Community Foundation (LCF) was established for the purpose of encouraging and expanding charitable giving in Lafayette. LCF invests in programs and projects that promote and enhance the civic, cultural, educational and environmental health of Lafayette and beyond. LCF supplements the financial needs of existing local charitable organizations, and provides financial support for new programs, through a grant program.

LCF supports projects that promote the civic, cultural, educational and environmental health of Lafayette. The Foundation supplements the financial needs of existing local charitable organizations and, at the same time, provides financial support for new programs offering the promise of meeting community needs. | Lafayette Reservoir Stage: The Lafayette Rotary and the Lafayette Community Foundation worked together to raise funds and build a small performance stage at the Lafayette Reservoir, providing a permanent location for the annual Concert at the Res, an annual fundraiser for music programs in our local schools. The stage, completed November 2011 at a cost of roughly $125,000 from private donations, is the new shining jewel in the 925-acre public recreation area that itself is a jewel and has been since its completion in 1933. | $6,700 | - |
