Doors of Change

Photocharity is committed to addressing the significant issue of youth homeless in San Diego, and does so by focusing on outreach, trust-building community-based programming, and residential services. Serving youth between the ages of 12 and 24, Photocharity identifies homeless youth by walking the streets of San Diego offering physical support, such as sleeping bags, socks, and water, and inviting these youth to participate in our award-winning Music & Arts Program. Through this program,, which serves over 400 young people each year, participants receive individualized or small group instruction on an instrument or art medium of their choice, developing skill mastery, confidence, a social support network, and a vision that something more may be possible in their lives.
