Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The foundation is organized to benefit the activities of the silicon valley community foundation and is operated in connection with the silicon valley community foundation. The primary mission of the foundation is to improve the quality of public school education by supporting programs that recruit, develop, retain and recognize effective educators. Specific focus will be directed to the unique challenges of public school systems in silicon valley. In addition to the primary mission, the foundation supports several other specific non-profit organizations that help to strengthen the community, improve health and welfare services, protect the environment and enrich lives through the arts and culture.
