Activity 2

Development: The foundation raises money to support the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and the pediatric programs at the Stanford School of Medicine. One hundred percent of funds raised are transferred to the hospital and school of medicine on a monthly basis. In 2011, the foundation raised approximately $62 Million, including intentions to give and conditional pledges. The foundation is currently involved in a campaign to raise a total of $500 Million by 2013, of which $488 Million has been raised through the end of 2011. the campaign has three primary objectives: to raise money to fund a major expansion of the Children's Hospital facility, to endow research and training positions, and to support ongoing activities at the hospital and school.

Activity 3

Foundation Programs: Through its Programs and Partnerships work, the Foundation seeks to improve the health and well being of children. The Foundation operates an extensive child health data site and also invests in programs that enhance the system of care for Children with Special Health Care Needs and their families. In 2011, the foundation invested approximately $2.65M in this area.
