Central Coast HIV/AIDS Services' mission is to serve individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS in Monterey and San Benito County by providing safety-net and vital services that assist in maintaining the best possible quality of life while also preventing the continued spread of HIV, through education, prevention and testing programs.

IRS990/Desc0Parker Advocacy Group (Formerly known as Central Coast HIV/AIDS Services (CCHAS)) provides wrap-around safety-net support services for individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS. HOPWA Services include STRMU (Short-term emergency rental/mortgage/utility assistance), Emergency hotel/motel vouchers, case management, life skills training, transportation vouchers and housing referrals. During the 2013-2014 Fiscal year, 32 households were assisted.In addition, deep subsidy permanent supportive housing assistance is provided to low-income & extremely low-income individuals/families affected by HIV/AIDS. Last year, 25 Households were provided for.Lastly, CCHAS provides HIV education, prevention and HIV & HEP-C testing services to community members of Monterey and San Benito Counties, including but not limited to a 1:1 syringe exchange, community presentations and outreach and referrals for medical care, drug & alcohol recovery and counseling services. An estimate of 1,600-2,000 residents were served during the year.
