“The form 990 for the year ending june 30, 2023 is being filed late due to a series of transitional challenges. Over the course of the past several months, we have experienced significant internal changes, including the departure of key staff members and the transition of responsibilities to new personnel. Additionally, we have been updating our accounting and administrative systems to ensure greater efficiency and compliance going forward. These transitions, while necessary for the long-term success and sustainability of our organization, temporarily impacted our ability to prepare and file the return by the extended due date of may 15, 2024. We want to emphasize that the delay was not due to a lack of diligence or intent to comply with our tax obligations. Rather, it was the result of unavoidable internal changes that delayed our usual filing processes. We have since taken corrective actions to ensure that our filing procedures are fully back on track, and we have implemented measures to prevent such delays from occurring in the future. We respectfully request that the irs consider this explanation as reasonable cause for the late filing and that no penalties be assessed. We are committed to remaining in full compliance with our filing requirements moving forward.”
