Mission and Values:The People's Kitchen is San Luis Obispo, California's only organization that provides a hot noon meal to anyone who us hungry regardless of financial, religious or social orientation. Our mission is to feed San Luis Obispos hungry by providing hot noon meals 363 days a year (Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day meals are provided by other charitable groups in our area) through an area wide network of volunteer groups that have banded together in the fight to end hunger. The People's Kitchen has adopted the following Statement of Values, which guides all of our actions and planning.
