This year the Blackstone River Coalition receiptd $150,000 from a stipulated fine courtesy of the Conservation Law Foundation with the understanding that the BRC would split the proceeds three ways with two other local watershed organizations all having 501c3 status. Checks in the amount of $50,000 were sent this year. One to the Blackstone River Watershed Association and the other to the Blackstone River Watershed council.”
