“Club service - focuses on strenghtening fellowship and ensuring the effectice functioning of the club. During the year, the club service comittee held several fellowship functions, held fireside chats where the ideals of rotary and service were discussed, distributed a weekly newsletter and discussed club service at weekly meetings. Club service committee also arranged for speakers at each weekly meeting where members learn more about their community and rotary.”

At each club meeting, club members take turns giving brief summaries of thier vocation and recite rotary's four way test. The four way test is an important ethical standard that all rotarians try to follow in their personal and business lives. Annually a vocational service award is given to one member of the community who exemplies outstanding customer service.”

Some of these include support of the durango community shelter, manna soup kitchen, voa shelter, and many more. The service committee also arranged for several "hands-on" work projects where members worktogether to improve the local community. The club also continued their the navajo solar light project. For this project,the club receives donations from members and grants from rotary and uses the money to install solar lights on the navajo reservation”
