Volunteers assist with various functions of the organization and program events, which is mainly the sugar land art and music festival. This includes, but is not limited to, the set-up and take-down of the booths, assist artists to their vehicle with their artwork, selling tickets, answer artists and attendees questions at the festival grounds, marketing, publicity, entertainment, set-up and online ticket sales. The board members all serve slcaf as volunteers.

THE EVENT FEATURED OVER 100 LOCAL AND REGIONAL ARTISTS, LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES ON TWO STAGES, AS WELL AS DANCE GROUPS THAT PERFORMED THROUGHOUT THE EVENING.

A TEEN YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD WAS CREATED TO GAIN EXPOSURE INTO THE SCHOOLS, GREATLY ENHANCING THE REACH OF SLCAF. THEY WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE 76 SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS WHO MAY HAVE OTHERWISE BEEN UNABLE TO ATTEND ART CAMPS.
