“WEN Membership is available to individuals, companies, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities providing services to and/or regulating energy companies with 5 or more years of professional involvement in the energy industry.”
“The WEN Global Board of Directors will be elected through a vote of the membership, based on a slate prepared by the Nominating Committee as described in the Bylaws. Notification of the slate of candidates and the process by which to cast ballots will be distributed to the WEN Membership by the current President-Elect or a designee at least thirty 30 days prior to the Annual Business Meeting.”

The Board has the discretion to decide which, if any, matters will be submitted to the members for a vote, except that the following decisions will always be submitted to the membership for a vote election of WEN Board, amending WEN's bylaws, dissolving WEN, merging or consolidating with another association, and selling all or substantially all of WEN's assets.
