IRS990/Desc0The DoorWay Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program employs a multi-level treatment approach to drug and alcohol recovery. It's an intensive, 7 to 13-month, Christ-centered program to help men overcome drug and alcohol addictions. When men enter the program, they participate in a comprehensive curriculum that includes evidence-based programming, self-discovery, life skills development, spiritual renewal, Bible study, and employment training. They also actively participate in mentoring, counseling, and 12-step work. See Schedule OLicensed Chemical Dependency Counselors (LCDCs) create treatment plans for the clients during their stay at the Mission. Clients receive substance abuse education, life skills training, and individual counseling and participate in 12-step programs. The Jack Mayfield House provides transitional living accommodations for up to 6 months to men who have graduated from the DoorWay Drug/Alcohol Recovery Program and are employed. These men have access to food, shelter, clothing, and social services for this time. In addition, these men continue to participate in recovery groups and counseling, and have the opportunity to help other men in the recovery program. Individuals make a monthly rent payment to live there.
