“Registration to attend one meeting automatically enrolls you as a member of swars. Membership is retained for 1 year”

“When the tax forms are completed by the executive director they are distributed to the officers. If any changes are equired, they are made by the directors. The final copy is given to the president for execution”

“At each annual business meeting, the treasurer makes a verbal statement to our members regarding the financial position of the swars. At that time, an offer is made to those members present to ask any questions regarding the swars finances. Alternatively, if any financial information is requested by any of our members during the year, we require that the request be put in writing addressing the specific information requested. The request should be addressed to the executive director who will advise the board and provide the requested information”

“At each swars annual business meeting the board of directors presents a proposed slate of officers amd/or directors whose terms expire at the end of that meeting. Other candidates are solicited from the members in attendance. Subsequently, the members vote to elect the officers and or directors for their new terms. At the business meeting, the board of directors also establishes and presents updates to the bylaws if needed. The members vote on any changes presented by the board of directors”
