“Our mission is to strengthen families as the basic unit of society by providing parents with the best ideas, information, and principles available to help them become extraordinary parents rearing responsible adults. The foundation does this through its begin with the children parenting program.”
“During fiscal year ended june 30, 2024, the foundation continued its transition to its post covid business plan. The foundation continued to develop a parent enrollment program for ob/gyn's. It also was updating and revising the early issues of its kinderkronicle publication these activities resulted in the discovery that our app was inadequate for handling these activities. This was a very serious setback. In the school of hard knocks, foundation management learned that app developers are a breed of their own. A search was undertaken for another app developer in utah. We were unable to find one for the foundation's needs so we expanded the search nationally. Several responses were received. Our search was narrowed to three candidate organizations, one in chicago, one in new york city, and one in cincinnati. We settled on the app developer in cincinnati. He advised that the platform used by the two previous app developers was inadequate for the foundation's needs. We engaged this app developer in july 2024. Moving forward, it has taken most of the foundation's fiscal year that will end on june 30, 2025 to develop a new app using a new platform, and dovetailing the app with the approximately 9,000 existing accounts and accommodating new accounts all within a new searchable database. The other positive development flowing from the foundation's activities during its fiscal year ending june 30, 2024 is that the new app is available for use during its 2025 fiscal year. Also, the 2025 utah legislature session approved a 100,000 funding request for use during the foundation's fiscal year ending june 30, 2026.”
