Evangelism, discipleship & training: i. In east asia, we placed 2 semester missionaries together with 2 short- term mission teams. They all conducted evangelism and discipleship initiatives among elementary and middle schools, among youth in a school for troubled teens, among university students at major universities, and among working adults. Ii. In east asia, we placed 1 semester missionary who worked with our ethiopian missionary partner and together they trained a team of 10 chinese missionaries in training to serve in east africa. Iii. We provided bibles to 1 of our national partners in south asia to support his church planting among an unreached people group. Iv. We placed 1 semester missionary in ethiopia. This team member worked with a long-term chinese missionary team to provide them with language and missionary training. Additionally, they launched a sports outreach and engaged local unreached people groups with the gospel. V. We provided training to house churches in east asia and equipped them with how to send, equip and care for their own indigenous missionaries serving on the silk road. Vi. In the usa, we continued our efforts with speaking at churches and universities, educating american christians on the great commission and about opportunities to serve on the mission field in asia. This included the launch of missions blab (now missions talk), and online live conversation about the great commission. In 2016, we hosted more than 20 live episodes.
