Evangelism & discipleship: in east asia, we placed 3 retired educators, each into 4-month missionary stints, and 3 full-time missionaries into two major cities. Combined, they conducted evangelism and discipleship initiatives among elementary & middle schools, among youth in a school for troubled teens, among university students at major universities and among working adults. We worked with one of our national partners in east asia to distribute bibles to two different ethnic groups in east and provided further training for the national partner in reaching students. Religious education & training: we launched a new initiative in south asia to empower indigenous christians in the great commission. We began this effort by facilitating two trips to south asia where our team educated believers about the great commission while training them in aspects related to business as missions, tent-making missions and leadership skills. In the usa, we continued our efforts with speaking at churches and universities, educating american christians on the great commission and about opportunities to serve on the mission field in asia. In east asia, we continued our work in developing the silk road training center, a missionary training center for chinese christians, which is set to open in 2016. Additionally, we worked with a missionary partner from ethiopia and spent 4 months helping him train a team of chinese christians in china to serve in ethiopia. They arrived in ethiopia this past august so we sent a follow up trainer to ethiopia to continue assisting them in their missionary training on the field for 5 additional months. Our full-time missionaries in east asia also worked with local house churches in their city to mentor believers and help them grow in their leadership within the body of christ in their city.
