The Organization is a not-for-profit organization that is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as other than a private Organization. The Organization is not aware of any activities that would jeopardize its tax-exempt status and is not aware of any activities that are subject to tax on unrelated business income. As of July 31, 2016, the Organization believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken, and as such, has no uncertain tax positions that qualify for either recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. With few exceptions, Federal information returns filed prior to 2013 for the Organization are no longer subject to examination by tax authorities.
