Mission

The Myra Volunteer Fire Department is organized to provide fire protection to rural areas in Cooke County including the Myra area. The department is a first responder in the immediate Myra area for fires, wrecks, and rescue operations, and responds as secondary responder to assist other Cooke County Volunteer Fire Departments when the need arises.
