“The membership includes various business organizations, individuals, and estates. These members join by making an application and paying a membership investment fee. Each member organization designates one representative which is eligible to cast votes put forth to the membership.”

“The members annually are notified by the chair of the nominating committee of a slate of up to nine board of director candidates that are nominated by the nominating committee. The members have the right to file a petition to nominate additional candidates for the board of directors, assuming their petition(s) bears the genuine signatures of at least one-hundred members of the chamber that are determined to be in good standing. In the instance of a legal petition or petitions presenting additional candidates, ballots are mailed/emailed to the members asking them to vote for between five to nine candidates for the board of directors. The candidates with the most votes are then declared elected to the board of directors at their next quarterly meeting.”
