The council has contracted with the california beef council, which has designated their executive director to develop promotions, enhance existing programs, to maintain producer outreach, assist with promotions, distribute beef educational materials, and to provide accounting services.

The council's tax return is prepared by a certified public accountant. After the return is completed, members of the council's governing body review the form 990.
