“Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation is formed for the purpose of providing scholarships to full time students attending High School in Austin, Texas for purposes of attending any university or college.”

“The Foundation's current efforts are focused on providing financial support for local students seeking to obtain higher education in partnership with the University of Texas at Austin, Austin Community College and Texas State University. Endowment funds at these institutions provide scholarships to students. The Foundation also provides scholarships to high school students from the Greater Austin area. Advocating for issues affecting the health and wellness of Hispanics and in addition, the foundation is proud to offer a Mentorship Program with the Austin Independent School district. Furthermore, the foundation develops the leadership of tomorrow through its Hispanic Austin Leadership Program.”

“HSC high school scholarship program (selected by 3 board members) Qualifications: 1. Be a United States Citizens or a legal permanent resident with permanent resident card or current passport stamped I-551 2. be a graduating high school senior residing in one of the following: Central Texas Counties: Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Lee, Travis, or Williamson 3. Plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year accredited college or university in the United States on a full time basis throughout the academic year 4. Have a cumulative Gpa of 2.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale 5.
