“The organization is a non-profit corporation with member Associations. Full membership may be applied for by Associations with more than 12 soccer teams. Associate membership may be applied for by Associations with 12 or fewer soccer teams”

“Each full member Association is entitled to one voting representation for every 1,000, or fraction thereof, of paid-in-full youth participants up to a maximum of seven votes.”

“All rules, policies, and procedures are approved as provided by the By-laws or based on the voting representation of the member Associations.”

“The Executive Director and Treasurer reviews the 990 prior to filing by doing the following: reviewing the yes/no answers given on the 990 form for accuracy, cross referencing the financial numbers to the financial statements, and corroborating other information given on the form based on first-hand knowledge of the organization.”

“Each board member and key employee is given a copy of the conflict of interest policy. On an annual basis major business relationships are reviewed for any possible conflict of interest transactions.”

“The Executive Committee reviews and approves the compensation package of the Executive Director. Any board member with a conflict of interest with respect to the compensation in question is not allowed to participate in the deliberations. All documents used to justify the compensation package given, notes of discussions conducted, and final decisions made are maintained within the minutes of meetings held.”

“Our 990 report is made available to the general public through guidestar website. Our financial statement information is included in our 990 report. Our articles of incorporation and bylaws are made available upon request. Our audited financial statements and operating policies are made available to the general public upon request.”

“During the year ended August 31, 2022, the Organization recognized a loss on the abandonment of a building in the amount of $82,165 for a property it had previously acquired with the intent to renovate into office space. The building was abandoned due to higher costs than anticipated to renovate the facility. All normal expenses of operations were expensed to the appropriate natural expense categories.”
