Motivation Education & Training, Inc. (MET) is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that has served rural areas of southeast Texas since 1967. MET's mission is to empower and inspire rural and underserved populations through motivation, education, and training. Operating across Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Dakota, New Mexico, and Wyoming, MET provides employment training, family services, and community-based programs through a network of service centers. The organization serves some of America's most vulnerable populations, including children and families, fathers and father figures, veterans and service members, migrant and seasonal farmworkers, and senior citizens. While MET's scope is broad, its focus remains on being a force for positive regional change. The organization's vision is to be the most trusted partner in building strong, self-sustaining rural and underserved communities through empowerment and opportunity.
