“1)How members or shareholders elect governing body: The Board of Trustees is elected by the Baptist Associations that the encampment severs. Each association is represented by elected trustees and the Director of Mission. Three places are filled by at large members elected by the board.”

“2)Form 990 review process: The tax form 990 is revived by the Executive Director, Treasure, and Finance committee chairman. A copy may also be requested by any member of the Board of Trustees or a church that is a member of the Baptist Associations the camp serves.”

“3)Explanation of monitoring and enforcement of conflicts: To ensure ETBE operates on a manner consistent with charitable purposes and does not engage in activities that could jeopardize its tax-exempt status, periodic review shall be conducted. The periodic reviews shall, at minimum, include the following subjects: 1) Whether compensation arrangements are reasonable, based on survey of information and the result of arm's length bargaining. 2) Whether partnerships, joint ventures, and arrangements with management organization confirms to ventures, and arrangements with management organization confirm to ETBE's written policies, are properly recorded, reflect reasonable investment or payments for goods and services, further charitable purposes and do not result in inurement, impermissible private benefit or in an excess benefit transaction.”

“4)Compensation review and approval process for CEO, Exec. Dir. Or top management: Compensation for full time staff is reviewed and voted on by the Board of Trustees.”

“5) Compensation review and approval process for other officers and key employees: Compensation for full time staff is reviewed and voted on by the Board of Trustees.”
